One of the best things about being a Virginia Wedding Photographer is being able to travel from the beach to the mountains to the city all in the same state. It never gets old, and this past weekend I was able to photograph a wedding at The Alexandrian Hotel in Old Town Alexandria. When Michelle inquired with me, she first and foremost said that she wanted her wedding day to be a party. A huge celebration of her marriage to Scott and the new family and life they will have together. Her Alexandrian Hotel wedding day was just that.

Their wedding day called for rain all day long, but, guess what, she was calm, cool, and collected. Michelle completely trusted my judgement and somehow it didn’t rain one bit. It was one of the most laid back weddings I have ever photographed. From the beautiful intricate details to the stunning portraits to the party at the end of the night, it was a day they will never forget!

I cannot wait to see them again in November for their after wedding engagement session! (Totally not a thing, but it was WAY too hot for an engagement session before hand!) Enjoy some of my favorites from Michelle and Scott’s The Alexandrian Wedding!
